This search service can be requested when a customer wants to perform a worldwide web search on a specified company (referred to as the "target" company) which is not necessarily limited to the target company's products and s. The customer determines the scope depending on what needs to be known about the target.

This may, for example, be done to determine the products that a company has developed, the information available to a customer's competitors, or for any other type of information that needs to be obtained.

Depending upon the scope, this search may take several months to complete.

Upon receiving the request for service, a Clearly Understood Search Coordinator will contact the customer to obtain the necessary details. This includes information about the target company, what type of information is required, whether to include all affiliated companies, etc. After gathering the search details the Search Coordinator will evaluate the project, develop a search plan, produce a time-line estimate, and create a price quote for the service. This will be reviewed with the customer. During the search the Search Coordinator will remain in contact with you as to the progress of the search.
